Art Contest (Entrance now closed)

Winners: 8 x local school children, names protected, announced through the local schools.

Age range:

Open to all, no age restriction


Bring it to the show where they will be displayed. Don’t have to be present to win it. Winners to be announced afterwards.

Local school children have already submitted hundreds of images, but this contest is open to all ages, so invite your inner child artist out to play!

Art will be hung at the show, any medium is allowed (please keep it family friendly). Use crayons, pencils, ink pen, paint, fabric collage, or any combination as your heart desires. We want to see what your beautiful imagination can dream!

Conservation, bees, and butterflies are the theme this year, so keep that in mind!

Photography Instagram Contest (Entrance now closed)

Age range:

Open to all, high school students especially encouraged to enter.


Pictures must be tagged and posted by the end of the last day of the show.

Free to enter – take pictures of this year’s show and post to social media with #HHGS19 to enter.

The photo competition is being run by the Henley College photography department. Instagram photos to be hash tagged #hhgs19 – a winner will be chosen after the show.


Winner gets to work with professional photographer, Kathryn Fell on a photo shoot

Tombola (entrance now closed)

Our exhibitors have been wildly generous and we are so thankful! Prizes include items like jewelry, workshops, games, infusers, candles, seed bombs, CDs, water bottles, wire animals, gin, Prosecco, champagne, books, colouring-in books, and more.

To retrieve prizes, winners must visit the booth at the show or the retailer in town.

All proceeds go to benefit the Chiltern Centre for Disabled Children.
