The Henley House & Garden Show was the idea of local interior design, Niki Schafer. Designed to be a collaboration of local property businesses and design talent, it was launched last year to much acclaim, welcoming 4,000 visitors from the region and beyond, to see the craftsmanship, design, and artistry available in the area. The show presented 65 exhibitors ranging from professional services to floristry and even hosted a home décor fashion show featuring Graham Bell, Mike Read and the mayor. The show was hailed a success not only for sales but also for entertainment all round.
Huge thanks also go to the following businesses:
As well as being a collaboration of the local businesses, the show also has a charitable side with a highlight of the weekend being a ‘Home Decor Fashion Show’. Local sporting heroes will model pieces of furniture and decor down a turf runway to create a room set. Money created during this fun event will go towards building a multi-sensory room at The Chiltern Centre, a respite centre for disabled children in Henley-on-Thames.
